Take your dog or cat to Bornholm and Hotel Allinge

When you go on holiday to Bornholm and stay overnight at Hotel Allinge, you can take your pet with you.

We give you some useful tips and information in relation to dogs and cats for Bornholm here.

Please note: Dogs and cats may not be brought to Christiansø. However, guide dogs for visually impaired people are exempted, as long as they are on a leash during the entire stay on the islands.

Hotel Allinge is a dog-friendly hotel

When you go on a Bornholm holiday and stay with us at Hotel Allinge, you are welcome to bring your pet with you.

However, we would really like to ask that your dog or cat does not get into the bed or onto the furniture. In our restaurants, you are not allowed to bring your pet.

Note: If you have brought your pet with you to Hotel Allinge, extra cleaning is required in your room when you leave us again. Therefore, we charge a fee of DKK 300 per stay per pet.

Dog forests and dog areas on Bornholm

In addition to the fact that you are welcome to take your dog to the beach anywhere on Bornholm (remember to take it on a lead between 1 April and 30 September), there are also various dog areas and dog forests. Here, your four-legged friend can frolic freely.

Travelling with your dog to Bornholm through Sweden

If you are traveling to Bornholm via Sweden and by ferry from Ystad, you should be aware of a few things.

Your dog must, among other things, be vaccinated, have its own pet passport and must be registered with the Swedish customs authorities upon entry (both ways).
