Sustainability at Hotel Allinge – Green Key cerification

Hotel Allinge is one of five hotels on Bornholm and the first on North Bornholm to be Green Key certified.

What does it mean to be “Green Key certified”?

The Green Key certification shows that here at the hotel we focus on sustainability. That is why we are certified with the international tourism sustainability certification Green Key.

This has meant that we have a systematic approach to sustainability, in that we focus on minimizing our consumption, optimizing and maintaining our machines, working with an ecologist, as well as ensuring that our staff thrive and that we inform you – our guest – about how you can also help us with our sustainability.

The staff at the reception are of course always ready to help you, also when you have questions about our general sustainability efforts.

As a guest at Hotel Allinge, what can I do myself to have a sustainable holiday?

– Towel change: To save on detergent, packaging, water and energy, we give you the opportunity to use the towels an extra day. Place the towel on the floor if you wish to have it replaced.

– Waste sorting: You are very welcome to sort your waste. At the reception you will find a waste station where you can get rid of your waste. We sort glass, paper, plastic and organic waste.

– Green activities: Contact the reception for inspiration and information about running routes, bicycle hire and pleasant walks near the hotel.
